Company history

Company history

"The Alfapreving Institute" was founded and registered with the Business Registers Agency on October 30, 2006. The position of the Institute's director from its establishment until 2012 was held by Dragana Stojanović, LL.B., with headquarters located at 22 Internacionalnih Brigada Street in Vračar.

The first employed associates at the Institute were Milorad Antonijević, B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Dejan Nedeljković, B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, and Prof. Dr. Dragan Stojanović.

The initial tasks performed by the Institute included providing occupational health and safety services for a number of legal entities, which gradually increased over time.

During those years, we intensively worked on providing services for the development of Risk Assessment Documents in the workplace and environment, in accordance with applicable legal regulations.

In 2010, the Institute was engaged in providing occupational health and safety services and environmental protection for the reconstruction project of the "Gazela" bridge, where the main contractor was "Strabag AG". The works on this project lasted for almost 4 years, and the specificity of this project, regarding the implementation of safety measures, lies in the fact that the works were performed on the bridge and in the metal bridge construction as well as in the streets while the vehicles were driving over the bridge, which increased the accident risk. Throughout the duration of this project, there were no serious injuries or fatalities.

After the completion of this project, a series of new projects followed in which engineers from the Institute were engaged. The contractors on these projects included numerous Chinese, Turkish, Italian, Austrian, and German companies, as well as a large number of companies from Serbia.

Today, the "Alfapreving Institute" employs over 30 engineers of various profiles and holds all necessary licenses in the field of occupational health and safety, fire protection, as well as several licenses from the Accreditation Body of Serbia.
